More Isometric Objects

1. Select the Line Tool in your panel.

2. Turn on "Snap to Objects" function (the magnet icon).

3. Draw a short line.

4. Copy and Paste it in place, then move it away to the right of the first line so the bottom tips of the lines could create a line of a desired angle. While moving it away, you should count how many times you clicked the right arrow.

TIP You can Shift your objects not only by mouse but also by the key arrows. Simply select a given object and press any of them. To jump 10 times more pixel, hold down your Shift key.

5. Once again, copy the line and shift it to the left of the first line. It should now create an exact reflection of the second line.

6. With your Line Tool, connect each of the bottom tips of the copied lines with the line in the middle.

7. Select the two lines and Copy and Paste them in place.

TIP To select many lines at one time, hold down your Alt key.

8. Move them up until they are in the appropriate place.

9. Make another copy of the two lines and use your hotkey for Flip Horizontal.

10. Now, we have an empty isometric object. To color it, select the Paint Bucket Tool (K), choose a color you like with the Color Mixer (Shift + F9 or Window->Color Mixer) and paint each face of your object. Finally, you can adjust their color by increasing/decreasing brightness, typically the top face should be lighter than the other two.
