Have you ever tried making rounded corners in Flash? You probably have. Have you noticed that rounded corners might look kinda strange when the rounded figure is small? I have recently noticed that - somehow I had never had an opportunity to create real small objects. Well, it goes without saying that it looked like crap. I'm still a bit angry that it took me the whole half an hour to find a solution to this.
Although I've been using Flash 8 for quite a long time now, I have never paid much attention to the little "Stroke hinting". This option keeps your lines on whole pixels which helps your rounded corners look "normal".
For people using Flash under 8, I suggest just positioning your lines on whole pixels.
